Sarees are sometimes used for making other items, such as pillows, bedding, table clothes, wall hangings, purses, other clothing and more. Extra blouse fabric can be used for anything you desire. (Deity outfits etc.)
  
Care-
Best to Dry clean. . It is said that pure silk does not get contaminated. . Just spot clean with gentle detergent) Then air it out.  Ironing a saree purifies it also. (Use heat accordingly)
